As an award winning celebrant in Ireland, I can give you that, and more. I will create a ceremony that is 'one of a kind' - just as you are. I am a HSE registered Interfaith solemniser based in Dublin who works anywhere in Ireland. I just love helping couples have the very best start to married life with a ceremony that is yours alone. I am honoured to get the opportunity to create ceremonies for many of life's milestones. As well as weddings, I create and officiate baby naming ceremonies, vow renewals and end of life ceremonies.
Some info about me
I'm Catherine, a wife and a Mum to a gorgeaus 12 year old girl. We love spending time together and are a great little team! I love music, and I love being outdoors, walking, hiking, exploring.
I know how weddings work!
I owned and performed in one of Ireland’s leading wedding and corporate bands for about 25 years. I have also sung at 100s of wedding ceremonies. I have worked with over 1,000 wedding couples over the years and, from that first meeting, through to the wedding day, I love to be witness to the planning process, and to see it all come to fruition on the wedding day.
I trained as an Interfaith Minister with OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation. Part of this 2 year training involved learning about many different faith paths and also recognising and respecting those who don't have a specific belief. We were immersed in working closely with people and learning how to hold space through ceremony. We learnt how to really listen to people, which is key as a celebrant in Ireland. I can perform legal ceremonies for people of all faiths or none, and I am a busy and in demand celebrant all over Ireland. You have a choice in what is included, or indeed, excluded in your ceremony. AND you will be legally married.
There will be much laughter and maybe a few tears, and everyone in the room will feel part of your big day.
